Our Service is based upon complete repair -  We are unusual in what we do because we service your vehicle from a POV that encompasses much more than just the cure.  Most repair shops will replace the defective component and send you on your way. That is the easy way out.  But "simply replacing" the defective part is not a total solution. Here at Arrow Automotive we go beyond the "simple fix solution" and search for the "long term resolve".

Front End ALignment - There are dozens of reasons why you need to keep your car in alignment. Tire wear is the initial concern, but tire wear is not just an alignment issue. Our alignment specialists look at all the possibilities, castor, camber, steering linkage, frame damage, wheel spacing and offset. All these issues can cause premature tire failure. We don't just "mount and balance"...there is so much to inspect. You cannot expect 40,000 miles from a new set of tires if chassis components are worn and the vehicle is out of align. You would never buy shoes that do not fit correctly and certainly new shoes are not going to fix a broken ankle.
PA State Inspection Service - All our technicians are certified to do state inspection, on all vehicles. With a solid understanding for this priority, we make repairs with "safety first" always on our mind. You can drive with confidence after the "Arrow Team" has serviced your car. Whether the vehicle is fully capable of passing "safety inspection", or there is work to be done, we will offer a detailed report for you, so your decision making process is enhanced with the facts. We do not assume anything...we offer a suggestion and alternatives that best fit your service needs.
PA State Emission Service - There are new rules for emission inspection in Pennsylvania. We do all emission service work, from scanning the "on board" systems to the final repairs. We understand the laws, therefore we understand your rights and your frustration when that "check engine light" flashes on. We do everything possible to make this a "one and done" service for you. This begins with the latest tools and service equipment, technician certification and education. Arrow Automotive covers all the bases...
Exhaust, Brakes and Suspension -  We service these areas using only the best parts available. We can fabricate exhaust components. We service the brake system as a single unit structure...front, rear and emergency systems all working together. Repairs at the front must take into consideration that which exists at the rear. Proper brake bias ratios help stop the car safer and avoid steering control losses. The chassis suspension components, shocks, struts and springs, these are all examples of the total driving experience. All component parts work as one.
Comfort Service  - Here at Arrow Automotive we understand that your driving comfort is as much a part of the experience as is the size, color and type of vehicle. We service HVAC. We service power windows. We service power locks systems and foot pedal systems. The interior is just as important as the exterior.
Custom Services - We also service motorcycles, trailers, camper eqquipment and custom vehicles that includes "hot rods" and "classic cars". These vehicles need service too, but they are not all OEM in nature. Classic cars have custom components that must be serviced as seperate units. Original antique vehicles require "mechanics". Replacement technicians cannot service these specialty vehicles. Keep in mind you don't need a fancy show-room to service your classic or custom. You need a "mechanic"...
Driveline Service - A lost art in the world of auto repair. The independent service shop wants your brake, oil change and AC service. State Inspections are their bread and butter. However, here at Al's Garage, we do driveline service too. We can replace a clutch, repair or replace the transmission. We can service the drive system whether it be front, rear or all wheel drive. We can overhaul rear-ends and axles or axle shaft. The engine replacement can be expensive and time consuming. Contact Al before you make that decision to repair or replace your engine. There are several options, and if you are not engaged in the process, it can be a costly mistake...
Tire Service and Balance - Tire maintenance is important in the 21st century. Our infrastructure is strained. That means our roads, highways and bridge decks are taking a toll on our tires. Rotation is one thing we can do to increase tire mileage and longevity, but most important is tire inflation. Proper inflation is your "first line of defense". The under inflated tire wears on the edges, while over inflated tires will wear in the center of the tread. Proper inflation is required to meet manufacturer sidewall design specifications. Proper design is important because "pot holes" can seriously damage sidewalls, causing a bubble, or slash that will rupture; more often during a turn of the wheel.
Tire Service is more than just maintenance. Our Team mounts, balances, rotates and inspects your tires for wear. We do tire plugs and repairs. We service wheels too!! New tires, we can offer you a full set or just a replacement at just one corner, and Al's prices are very competitive with the big shop brands. Check with Al before you buy on-line, because the money you save may not be worth the experience.

The service area - We have a 11,000 sqft 2 floor facility where we service vehicles and maintain a general parts department. The upper floor has five full lift bays where we can service any vehicle including HD trucks and Recreation Vehicles.  We inventory a wide variety of lubricants for all engine needs. We inventory the most popular sizes in automobile tires.

Arrow Automotive Services is Als Garage, and some critics say we are a throw back to the 20th century when auto service was lubricious and disheveled. Actually Als Garage is a return to a time when 8 hours was all about work. We do not offer a fine waiting room or clean rest rooms. Our shop floor is not pristine, but the service work is done contemporary, on time and equitable with charges that are virtuous and often far less expensive than "the cleanest shop" in town.

Doing any job in an appropriate fashion requires conscientious attention paid to the task at hand. That makes the Arrow Team who we are. You are still the customer and your vehicle is first and foremost our number one concern.   Please remember, oil changes, tire rotation, state inspection...most any shop can offer those services...here at Arrow Automotive we actually repair the vehicle. We are called upon to do many of the tough and dishonored jobs those nice guys turn away.
